We are incredibly proud to share that our 3rd Class students have won the U13 Group Award at the An Garda Síochána Youth Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of young people across Ireland.
The class was nominated by their teacher, Ms. Duffy, for their inspiring work in creating a 3D model village that is fully disability-friendly. Their thoughtful and inclusive project also earned them first place in the national Someone Like Me competition earlier this year.
Ten children from the class, along with Ms. Duffy and Mrs. Lee, attended the awards ceremony on Sunday, 18th May at the Glasshouse in Sligo, where they proudly received a beautiful glass trophy in recognition of their achievement.
This well-deserved recognition highlights the creativity, compassion, and teamwork of our students. Huge congratulations to all involved!
