The children and teachers enjoyed a bumper crop of tomatoes from the school polytunnel this year, our school caretaker Charlie replanted and looked after the tomato plants the way through the summer months and the children were delighted to see them and harvest them when they came back to school. They were delicious! Big thanks to Charlie!
Mr Gallaghers 5th class have been busy planting spinach,leeks,mixed leaves and parsley in the polytunnel. They planted garlic last week and are looking forward to seeing it grow over the winter. They record all of the work they do in the polytunnel in their garden journals!
